The website located at « » (the “Website”), is a digital library providing information on authors’ rights by compiling articles of doctrine, jurisprudence and chronicles from abroad (the “Articles”).


The purpose of these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) is to define the methods and conditions for use of the services provided on the Website, which is owned and edited by RIDA.

 This website, owned by Rida, has been designed to meet the needs of its subscribers and customers by offering them adapted services. You agree to use the website in accordance with the regulations in force, public order and morality and to comply with these terms of use and other specific conditions provided in certain pages of the website (for example: example, reserved access of members). You must read them and, as far as they are likely to be updated, consult them regularly. If you continue to use the site after posting changes, it means you accept them.

You can subscribe to the Website, according to the process described in section 5 hereunder, to access the following services: delivery of the RIDA’s Review quarterly in hard copy and consulting and / or downloading in PDF format any of the Articles available on the Website.


5. Access to restricted areas and services on the Website


Access to and use of certain areas and services of the Website are restricted and subject to subscription, in section 8.3. above mentioned.

To subscribe, you must make an online application from the home page of the Website.

Upon receipt of your application, an invoice will be sent to you. Upon payment of the invoice, an identifier and a password will be sent to you which will enable you to login to your personal account and access to the restricted areas and services on the Website.

Your identifier and password are strictly personal and confidential. You are responsible for handling and keeping them as well as the consequences of their use, in particular if you communicate them to third parties.

You agree to supply true, accurate, up-to-date and complete information and to keep it up to date. If you provide any information that is false, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is false, inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and prohibit any and all current or future use of the Website by you.

Your data are kept as long as your account is active. Your data are automatically deleted within 3 months of the date you request the deletion of the account.

All content (text, sound, image, software, logo, etc) published on the Website is protected in compliance with the provisions of French law and international conventions relating to Intellectual Property.

Subject to the provisions in Articles L.122-5, L.211-3 and L.342-3 of the Intellectual Property Code, and the different conditions of use determined by free licences when content is identified as coming under such a licence, any reproduction and/or communication to the public of all or part of such content is subject to licensing.
